About Us

Lots of Pots was established in 2008 when Anton and Elaine Els purchased an existing business by the name of Tuscany’s, changed the name and within months relocated the business to its current address on Lynnwood road, Pretoria.

All didn’t come easy. Lots of Pots had very little stock, a borrowed delivery vehicle, only four personnel, and was sharing the premises with a nursery. After 2 years Lots of Pots bought out the nursery, and through hard work and dedication a pining business was turned into many Pretoria residents’ favorite garden centre.

In 2012 another branch was opened on North Rand road in Boksburg, mainly serving the East Rand and Eastern suburbs of Johannesburg. Under the efficient hand of manager and co-owner Gideon Nel, Lots of Pots Boksburg has steadily grown into a reputable, beautiful and successful garden centre.

2021 Marks the year in which a third Lots of Pots branch was opened on the corner of Wierda Rd (M10) and Ashwood Dr in Centurion. Managed by co-owner Pieter Smith, this branch is growing from strength to strength.

All three Lots of Pots branches have one of the most extensive ranges of garden hardware to cater for every need and taste, while maintaining our 2 core principles: interesting quality products at reasonable prices. Our loyal customers compliment us almost daily not only on our pots, but also on the outstanding quality of our garden plants, seedlings, indoor plants and ground covers, all at excellent prices.

Together the 3 branches employ almost 60 personnel, and through our friendly delivery teams we have delivered plants and pots as far as Louis Trichardt in the North, Mbombela (Nelspruit) to the east, Zeerust to the west and Bloemfontein southwards.

Our product range has grown tremendously and includes garden pots, water features, stepping stones, pebbles, bird baths, steel gazebos and other interesting steel goodies, garden furniture, ornaments, statues, bird feeders, water pumps and accessories and thousands more. We are certainly one stop garden shops!

The 2 Pretoria branches are proud to announce that we won the “Best of Pretoria” competitions in both 2022 and 2024, being voted the best Garden Centres in Pretoria, with Lots of Pots Boksburg being a fierce contender in the Ekurhuleni region.
